God help us not to live a defeated life.

When God said I am with you always (Matthew 28:20 KJV) I believe he was being serious and honest. If you have the Holy Ghost (i.e. water springing up into everlasting life from John 4:10-14 KJV) then you will know what I mean.

In whatever adverse circumstances, in particular, we find our selves in life, if God is going to answer our prayers, then we will not live a defeated life. Those who have stopped living for God: Jesus and have turned back into loving this World, cannot claim a life that is not defeated by the devil/satan, and his fallen angels.

It is always the Will of God: Jesus for His people to live above the power of the devil/satan. If our prayers are not being answered at all or answered just a very few times by God: Jesus, then something is wrong. I believe that. It may be a case such as Job life (from Job 1 KJV – There was a man in the land of Uz). But often times, that is not the case.

It may just be too much sins in our life that we have not repented about. God hates sin. And he will not answer our prayers if we are saved but willfully choose to be or remain in sin. That is a defeated life.
