Sad to see them change like that.
I am on Facebook from a far back as 2007 (if I remember correctly) although I have restarted a few time since then. Nevertheless, I have been around for a good while to see lots of things online and the changes in people postings and the technology we all use.
I do not have much friends these day especially since I changed Apostolic Church Fellowship Location in Philadelphia and partly because I “deactivated” or “restarted” my Facebook Profile in recent years. However, that is not the main reasons for the changes I have seen in people, especially Apostolic people online.
For example, when someone “in the faith” starts to post and share far more “philosophical” posts than Biblical or Scriptural things from the Bible, and so on, they are often becoming more and more “worldly” and less and less “Spiritual.” Eventually, they post and share very little things about God: Jesus, Church Fellowship, the Bible, and so on. Then soon after that, they are no longer “True Believers” but still believe in God. That is usually a god in general (such as a Christian Denomination god) that they are referring to, and not Jesus or the True Living God.
The True Living God is fast being replaced by “a god” by those who say they believe “in God.” Many do even care about the things of God. When they speak or write/post online, they seem to be more “religious” or “philosophical” with words such as “energy” or “vibes” or even “higher power.” Many seem to just relax and accept a “Christian Denomination” I believe in God kind of faith and like/enjoy the Church Fellowship rather than seek the True God given Salvation from reading John 3:3-8 KJV. And see also Romans 8:9-11 KJV.
I have seen (and still seeing) many Apostolic Christians change, and settle for a Denominational Christian Lifestyle online, and then offline, or vice versa. Going to Church becomes just “nice” to may. While the People of the World ask “which Religion are you on.” The longer the second coming of the Lord has not yet occurred, the more people (including Apostolic Christian people) become relaxed and comfortable with this world. But read 1 John 2:15-17 KJV.
A few of us True Bible Believers (including as myself and family) still hate this world, and the lifestyle of this world. There is no such thing as “lesser evil.” Sin is sin, evil is evil, and wickedness is wickedness, etc. We need to remember James 1:27 KJV.
If we do change, then we must “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…” James 4:8 KJV.
